Here’s A Man Still Working For Your Smile on Flickr.
One of the highlights of my life was seeing Leonard Cohen in concert at the Beacon Theatre in February 2009.
I was so in awe of the man that, during the final song, “Wither Thou Goest,” I instinctively made my way as close as I could get to the stage, just to see him up close.
This photo was taken from my seat in the 22nd row on the floor. I didn’t get a clear enough picture of Cohen up close, mostly because I was standing there just taking in the moment.
His new album, Old Ideas, comes out today and, even by his own brutally high standards, is exquisite.
